Since opening, the StarºÚÁϳԹÏÍøp at the Armory has become one of Maryland’s largest entrepreneur support organizations and a nationally-recognized hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

We’ve connected entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, and community members with ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s resources to help ideas thrive and businesses grow. Together, we have built a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, sparked innovation and accelerated opportunities across the region. None of this would have been possible without strong community support, foundational partnerships and intentional iteration.

Join us as we celebrate the StarºÚÁϳԹÏÍøp at the Armory's fifth anniversary and the incredible community that helped make it all possible with a networking event with business leaders, university leadership, elected officials and members of the StarºÚÁϳԹÏÍøp community.

Speakers include:

  • Mark Ginsberg, President, Towson University
  • Johnny Olszewski, Congressman, State of Maryland
  • Brooke Lierman, Comptroller, State of Maryland
  • Laura Gamble, Regional President, PNC Bank
  • Troy LeMaile-Stovall, CEO, TEDCO
  • Daraius Irani, Vice President, Business and Public Engagement, Towson University

In May of 2021, entrepreneurs and industry leaders discussed the benefits of small businesses (restaurants) and startups working together, especially during a pandemic. Panelists talked about their experiences fostering relationships with startups, small businesses and the local community.

Presidents, administrators, and faculty from three universities with strong entrepreneurship programs discussed how each institution approaches entrepreneurship through academic, social and partnership programs. (4/27/21)

In February of 2021, Patrick McQuown shared information about the opening of the StarºÚÁϳԹÏÍøp at the Armory and led a discussion between successful founders and CEOs of BarTrack, SharkMarket and RADRR, all founded by college students.
